Celebrate the opening of Portland’s first bone broth café on Wednesday, August 5th, at the new Broth Bar.
Broth Bar is owned by Tressa and Katie Yellig, who are sisters dedicated to creating “fast” food that is still healthy and healing for consumers.
The café at Broth Bar focuses entirely on bone broths, featuring a menu of bone broths made from bison, beef, chicken, turkey, and pork.
Broth Bar is also a retail shop for the Yellig’s other business Salt, Fire & Time, which offers products like jerky, coconut yogurt, jarred bone broth, kombucha, and other fermented foods.
Since the Yellig sisters also believe that healthy eating is a lifestyle and not just an occasional meal choice, Broth Bar will be an event space where visitors can enjoy tastings, nutritional classes, and other events.
“Bone broth belongs to the everyday person and everyday experience. It’s not just a snack, it’s a lifestyle. Bone broth is an integral element of good health and healing, which is the foundation of our lives. We plan to grow so many things from here,” said Tressa Yellig.
To enjoy free samples of bone broth and learn more about the health benefits of broth, attend Broth Bar’s opening on Wednesday, August 5th. The event begins at 8 am.
Broth Bar, 115 NE 6th Ave. Open Tuesday - Friday from 8am - 4pm and Saturday from 10am - 4pm.
