Oregon is the number one booziest state in America, according to a ranking by Thrillist

The study ranked all 50 states based on 10 cirteria including breweries per capita and last call hours. Oregon's standout statistic was its 6.3 breweries per 100,00 people. The study also revealed that Oregonians drink approximately 2.65 gallons of booze and craft beer and wine alone account for a $4.6 billion economic impact each year.

Colorado, Alaska and Montana closely follow Oregon on the list, Colorado with 4.7 breweries per 100,000 people and Alaska with a 5 AM last call.

Thrillist even mentioned that one of their staff members, Andy Kryza, is a Portland native and strongly defended the beaver state's number one ranking. Oregon has an "unassailably dense beer scene," according to Thrillist, and also ranked number one on their list of BEST beers in America

Drink up Oregonians. We've got the best and the most bountiful booze in the country.
