Today, Umpqua Bank
opened its newest neighborhood store in the Fox Tower building in downtown Portland. The new 2,782 square-foot space features signature high touch amenities, technology, art and community spaces.
To celebrate the store's opening, Umpqua has partnered with the neighboring Nordstrom to host a shoe-shine "buy out," offering nearly 100 free shoe shines to local shoppers.
Umpqua's new store will also be the exclusive retailer of Portland-based Mazama Wares' limited edition "Robin's Egg" camp mug that can be purchased right in the store. Mazama Wares' is Umpqua's latest addition to its Local Spotlight program which demonstrates the company's commitment to small businesses by showcasing and selling products from local companies.
In conjunction with the store's opening, the Fox Tower store will host an event on March 19, celebrating local entrepreneurs. At the “Don’t Quit Your Daydream” event, entrepreneurs will share inspiring stories, successes and failures they’ve encountered while growing their businesses.
