Portland’s Tradeswomen Leadership Institute Hosts Fundraiser

Wednesday, August 19, 2015

The Tradeswomen Leadership Institute is hosting a fundraiser in honor of its 9th annual leadership weekend. Oregon Tradeswomen, Inc. and live storytelling series, Back Fence PDX, are partnering on September 25 as part of the fundraising event. Five of the Tradeswomen will embrace the stage and share true and real stories about their past life experiences as women working in trade.

The Tradeswomen Leadership Institute is about leadership development and unity among women working in the building, construction, mechanical and utility trades. Tradeswomen learn to become leaders within the workplace, as well as help build relationships with a community of women who share similar experiences.

The event will take place on 8371 N Interstate AVE in DISJECTA. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a pre-social gathering for food and drinks. The STORIES begin at 7:30 P.M.

Tickets for the event is $15 per person with only limited seating available. For tickets visit backfencepdx.com
