Portland Threads is GoLocalPDXs weekly review of what Portlanders are wearing on the streets.
The coat and scarf combo has always been a trend during the fall and winter seasons and Portlanders wear the look religiously on these chilly days.
For instance, a plain black scarf and Zara jacket with plenty of silver zippers, becomes a shield to block the frigid wind.
A high quality vintage coat from a mother's closet is a staple item, and looks great paired with a beige scarf and gray skinny jeans.
And a black speckled blouse adds texture to an overall black outfit made up of a cozy Goodwill coat and scarf.
