Independent, locally owned clothing boutique, Communion, is hosting their annual fashion show tonight at popular bar Dig A Pony.

The Third Annual Communion Fashion Show will showcase a mix of everything in the store, such as Danish women's clothing label Just Female, and Rains, a company focused on creating modern raincoats. The show will also feature jewelry from Portland jewelry designers like Anna Korte of AK Vintage

Come early to win a free pair of bold Stand Socks, given to the first 50 people. There will also be drinks, tasty food, and giveaways provided by California clothing brand RVCA and wilderness fragrance company Juniper Ridge

Communion will be raffling off gift certificates for their store, and other local retailers. The raffle is benefiting non-profit animal adoption and rescue center, The Pixie Project. You can buy raffle tickets at the event, one for $2 or three tickets fro $5.

Former Local35 employee Marcy Landolfo opened Communion back in 2012. The shop located in the Hawthorne District carries trendy and affordable men’s and women’s clothing from local and international labels.

The Communion Fashion show is free to the public and tonight, November 19, at Dig A Pony, 736 SE Grand Avenue. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7:30 pm. For more information click here
