Thursday, November 06, 2014

Nau x Adorn

Portland boutique Adorn, will feature sustainable urban and outdoor apparel company Nau, in a new capsule collection at their recently opened Southeast Division St. store.

The capsule collection will debut on Friday November 7, with a launch party for the Fall/Winter collection. Of course there will be drinks, yummy bites and gifts with purchases.

Nau focuses on creating long lasting, minimalist, and timeless designs for men and women, that can be combined with your frayed skinny jeans, workout gear, or slip on Chelsea boots. All of the garments are made with natural renewable fibers, certified organic cotton, or synthetic fabrics that contain a high recycled content. Nau primarily gets their fabrics from China, Japan, Korean because many of the textiles originate only in Asia. There goal is to continue to have production as close to the fabric source as possible. Their fall collection features water resistant material, light fill goose down jackets, knitted beanies, and heather gray sweaters.

Nau also donates 2 percent of every sale to a list of organizations and movements, like Ashoka, PeopleForBikes and Mercy Corps.

Join the Nau launch party on Friday, November 7 from 6 pm- 9 pm at Adorn, 3366 SE Division Street.
