video: Kanye x Adidas “Yeezy” Sneaker Revealed

The highly anticipated Kanye West and adidas “Yeezy 750 Boost” shoe, took over the internet this weekend starting with leaked photos by Wests’ longtime friend Ibn Jasper. 

Ibn Jasper, Wests’ barber and friend posted six up close photos of the high top sandy beige “Yeezy 750” kicks, on Instagram this past Friday. The sneakers seem more basic and far removed from athletic influences then anticipated. From the photos the adidas logo can’t be seen on the outside of the shoe.  

Shoe fanatics and Kanye fans alike are a little disappointed with the shoe, and making twitter a platform for their opinions. Some saying “they look like high tech uggs” while others are rejoicing that the “Yeezy 750” will come in a “Solar Red” colorway.  

West was seen wearing a pair of “Yeezy 750” this past weekend at Roc Nation’s Pre-Grammy brunch. He was also seen gifting them to Jay-Z at the event. 

Wests’ yeezy.supply countdown site is dedicated to what we think is the release of the full shoe collaboration at New York Fashion Week. It features a video of a person working on a sewing machine surrounded by white fabric. 

West still hasn’t forgotten about his previous partnership with Nike however. During Big Sean’s Yahoo! performance at LA’s House of Blues this past Saturday, Kanye said “I just want to talk to Portland right quick. Everybody at the Nike office…” 

He went on to say “Should Nike be scared of Kanye West?" as his song New Slaves blared and audience members went crazy. West ends his rant with “Y’all should thank Nike because they made me make these songs right here.”
