Portland based jewelry line betsy & iya present the You + Me, pt. 1 thirteen piece collection.

“The notion of yin and yang, or give and take, is what got me thinking of pieces that fit together,” said designer Betsy Cross. “The dynamics of different pairings fascinates me, and those dynamics also function as a metaphor for the way we work together, support one another, and fit together as people.”

The materials used include fine silver, gray cotton, and the signature betsy & iya materials of brass and bronze.

The collection inspired by a trip to Peru, combines tribal influences with a theme of long, narrow cutout slits. The pieces can be layered and stacked, or shared with a friend or loved one.

The La Luz is an adjustable cotton thread statement necklace in bronze, brass, and silver. The Vous et Moi interlocking stud earrings come in silver or bronze and are hand carved. The Suelo, a double bar, double knuckle ring can be a great minimal piece for any jewelry collection.
