Clean out your closet and get a whole new wardrobe at this year’s The BIGGEST Clothing Swap in the Northwest.
The all ages clothing swap will include men’s and women’s clothing sections in a variety of sizes. Shoes and accessories will be accepted as well.
With more than 1,000 people RSVP’d, you’re pretty much guaranteed to score more than a couple of great pieces this year. And while you peruse through the piles of clothes to find the perfect sequined black dress, don’t forget to take a drink break and grab a cold mimosa or cocktail.
New rules have been added to make sure your getting high quality used items. Clothes must be clean and wearable with no holes or stinky smells (thrifters know what I mean). Organizers warn that you will be turned away immediately if you are caught bringing in smelly and nasty clothing. Bras, underwear, socks and children’s apparel will not be accepted as well. You can also buy an empty bag for five dollars, if you don’t have a bag of clothes to share. And while you peruse through the piles of clothes to find the perfect sequined black dress
Proceeds will support the Alley 33 Fashion Event, which celebrates local, independent, and sustainable production and manufactures. The outdoor show brings over thirty designers (ready-to-wear, high couture, and emerging) together for a entertaining night.
The BIGGEST Clothing Swap in the NW, Crystal Ballroom, 1332 W Burnside Street, 11 am- 3 pm, Sunday April 12th, $8 advanced/ $10 door (and a bag of clothes). For more information click HERE.

“Celebrate the beauty of your whole body -- show, show, show. Don't hold back on wearing sheer or fitted dresses,” says Tito Chowdhury. “Before you know it, it will be out of style --so do it this season.”

Denim x Denim
“My top pick for the ladies, is the boyfriend cut. These are NOT your boyfriend's jeans,” says Jennifer D Harris. “They are made to be sleek, chic, and approachable. They are absolutely NOT sloppy.”
“We will definitely see a lot of denim this spring but I suspect people will switch it up a bit by pairing denim with denim, and denim embellished with lace and jewels,” says Sierra.
