PNCA Hosts Chocolate and Art Show

Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) presents the Chocolate and Art Show—an event dedicated to Portland’s up-and-coming creators, including photographers, musicians and painters.
The show will include different artists showcasing their work over several mediums. There will be live body paintings, live music from Le Printemps and When We Met among other bands. There will also be free henna tattoos, live portrait paintings, face paintings and free chocolate.
The Chocolate and Art Show will take place on Saturday, September 19 starting at 7 p.m. Early bird tickets are available for sale online for $10 and at the event for $15.
The event is located on 511 NW Broadway, with free street parking provided.

The gallery currently features "Gathering Autonomy: Justseeds Artists’ Cooperative," a cooperative of 30 artists whose work focuses on radical social, environmental, and political topics. There was also work from PNCA students, alumni, and faculty presented at the gallery on the third floor. And there was lots of banging from a community drum circle.
