The Maestro Variety Show
Dominique Moralez will be returning to Portland, Oregon for the first time in over 20 years. The opera singer will appear as a host and soloist in the U.S. premier of "The Maestro Show." This variety show will include music from Phantom of the Opera, Moulin Rouge, Queen, Rufus Wainright and Coldplay.
The Portland Columbia Symphony Orchestra and special guests Livia Scott and Jonathan Patterson will also be featured in this production. Scott is a UCB Theatre comedian and Patterson is a Brazilian guitarist.
"I am incredibly grateful to Betsy Hatton and the Portland Columbia Symphony Orchestra for providing this tremendous opportunity to return home and share a special evening of music, dance, and celebration with everyone in Portland!," said Moralez.
Moralez first developed programming for The Maestro Show back in 2010 when he was invited to perform for Queen Margrethe of Denamark and Prince Henrik of Montezat during the 1300th year anniversary of the City of Ribe.
In the past Moralez has appeared in the Paris National Opera, Royal Danish Opera and the Ravinia Festival just name a few.
If you would like to attend there will be a showing at 2pm and 7:30pm on Wednesday, July 15 at The Gerding Theater at the Armory. Tickets are between $45 and $100 and can be purchased HERE.
