This week, 15-year-old Daniel Seavey made it into American Idol’s Top 24.

Daniel sang his way into JLO’s heart just a few weeks ago and despite his young age, has managed to beat another Oregon local, Naomi Tatsuoka.

Joining Daniel on the Idol stage is Hillsboro's sweetheart, Lovey James.

The pressure is getting high, but Daniel seems to be keeping his charm and wits about him as you can see in the YouTube video below.

Keri Seavey, Dainel’s mother and avid tweeter and blogger, recently tweeted, “Parenting an American Idol contestant is definitely not for the faint of heart!!”

Daniel definitely has a hard road ahead of him, but regardless of the outcome, he’s already done a lot to make both his mother and his community very proud.
